Results Review
We sit down with you and walk through your brain map in plain English, then build a personalized training plan around your specific goals and symptoms.
A brain map is only useful if you understand what it means. The results review is where the color-coded picture turns into something you can actually use: a plain-language explanation of what we saw, and a training plan built around you.
It is the second step at Source Neurofeedback in Clarksville, TN, after your qEEG brain map. No jargon, no pressure, just a clear conversation about what the map shows and what comes next.
What happens in your qEEG brain map results review
You sit down with Dr. Cindy Morrey and go through your map together, region by region, in plain English. You see where activity looks fast, slow, or out of balance, and we connect that to what actually brought you in, whether that is sleep, focus, mood, or something else.
This is also where we are honest about expectations. The map guides where training might focus, but it is not a medical diagnosis, and how much training helps varies from person to person. If anything in your history points to a medical issue, we will say so and point you toward the right care.
Building your training plan
From the map and our conversation, we build a plan that fits you: which patterns to train, roughly how many sessions to expect, and what realistic progress looks like for your goals. You leave knowing what we are working on and why, with no mystery and no hard sell.
No pressure, ever. The results review stands on its own. If you want to move forward with training, great. If you would rather think it over, that is completely fine. We are here to give you clear information, not a sales pitch.
What comes next
Once you are comfortable with the plan, the next step is brain training itself, the sessions where your brain gets real-time feedback and practices steadier patterns. If you would rather take time to think it over first, that is completely fine.
Common questions
What happens during the results review?
You sit down with Dr. Cindy Morrey and go through your qEEG brain map together, in plain language. You see where your activity looks fast, slow, or out of balance, we connect it to what brought you in, and we build a training plan around your goals. It usually takes under an hour, and there is no pressure to decide anything on the spot.
Will the review tell me what is wrong with my brain?
Not in a diagnostic sense. A qEEG brain map shows patterns of electrical activity, not a medical diagnosis. The review explains what those patterns look like and how we would use them to guide training. If something in your history points to a medical issue, we will say so and steer you toward the right care.
How long does the results review take?
Usually under an hour. We would rather take the time to make sure you actually understand your map and your plan than rush you out the door.
What if my map or history suggests something medical?
We will tell you plainly and point you toward a doctor. Neurofeedback is not a replacement for medical care, and a brain map does not diagnose conditions. We are glad to coordinate with your providers.
Do I have to commit to training after the review?
No. The review stands on its own. If you decide to move forward, great, and if you want to think it over or it is not the right fit, that is fine too. We will be honest about whether we think it can help.
