Athletes tend to ask about three things. First, attention under pressure: staying locked in through a long match or a high-stakes moment instead of getting rattled. Second, composure and emotional regulation: settling the nervous system quickly after a bad call or a mistake so it does not snowball. Third, sleep and recovery, since a brain that winds down well recovers better than one stuck in overdrive.

Straight Talk

What the research does and doesn’t show.

We would rather be straight with you than oversell. The research on neurofeedback for athletic performance is still thin and emerging. There are promising reports and a growing interest among sports scientists, but the evidence base is nowhere near the level of established training methods, and anyone promising guaranteed performance gains is getting ahead of the science.

What we can honestly say is that neurofeedback is drug-free, it is guided by your own brain data, and many people find the focus and composure work worthwhile. We will not dress that up as more than it is. If you need certainty before you begin, this may not be the right time; if you are curious and realistic, it can be worth exploring.

Where It Begins

Start with a brain map.

As with everyone we see, athletes begin with a qEEG brain map. The recording is short and comfortable, usually about an hour, and no referral is required to book one. It shows us where your rhythms sit before we design anything.

From there we go over the map with you and outline a drug-free training plan aimed at the focus and composure goals that matter for your sport. If it sounds worth a look, start with a brain map and we will take it from there.

Will neurofeedback improve my performance?

We cannot promise that. The research is still emerging, and we work on the mental skills behind performance, focus and composure, rather than guaranteeing a result.

Is it legal and drug-free?

Yes. Neurofeedback involves no substances at all. It is simply brain training guided by your own EEG.

Do I have to be a serious athlete?

No. Weekend competitors and recreational athletes ask about it as often as college players.

How is this different from your peak performance page?

How long before I notice anything?
